IRT's Annual Great Giving Race Helps Communities in Need This Holiday Season

Each year IRT call center professionals come together to help those less fortunate. This year our team collected 7,372 canned foods, toiletries, coats and blankets, representing the most successful effort to date. Since 2006, IRT employees have donated a grand total of 32,859 items to families in need in our local communities. Sandra Gobbo, SVP of Administration said, "We are very proud of our employees and their generosity during these tough economic times. Our charitable partners do a tremendous job for the local communities we operate in and we are very pleased to support them in their efforts."

The donations received from this year's Great Giving Race will be given to the following charities which will be providing food baskets for the Thanksgiving holiday to local families in need:

  • Ada, Oklahoma – Free Will Baptist Church in Stratford
  • Houston, Texas – Bread of Life Organization
  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida – City of Lauderdale Lakes Food Bank
  • Miramar East & West, Florida – Big Momma’s Team of Life
